Singer Chris Brown’s controversial tour Down Under has been cancelled.
A statement was released by Ticketek this morning saying that the 26-year-old would no longer be coming to Australia and New Zealand this month.
It is believed he was unable to overturn the Australian Government’s decision to not grant him a visa due to his history of domestic violence.
In the statement, Ticketek Australia said Brown remained positive the tour could be rescheduled.
“Chris Brown’s December 2015 tour in both Australia and New Zealand will not take place,” the statement read.
“The shows scheduled at Perth Arena on 9 December, Rod Laver Arena on 12 December, Allphones Arena on 14 December and Brisbane Entertainment Centre on 16 December are cancelled.
